Wine Country Century

The Wine Country Century (WCC) is a long-running bicycle event produced by the Santa Rosa Cycling Club (SRCC). It is a staple in SCRA's public service season. SRCC likewise has been a longtime donation contributor to SCRA. SCRA manages amateur radio communications with Net Control, rest stops, and radio SAGs. The event is a straight ahead century bike tour of the west central portions of the county. There are three route options: 34 miles, 100 km, and 100 miles. SRCC has more information here:

Operational Details:

  • Operational Area: West Sonoma County, Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys
  • Operational Time: 0600 - 1800
  • Repeater(s): Primary - W6SON (147.315 + T88.5); Backup - WA6YGD (145.350 - T88.5)
  • HT Friendly? Depends on location, mobile radios (35W Min.) are preferred. Use of HTs is not recommended for this event.
  • APRS - if you're a SAG and have it, bring it.

Ops Plan: Plans and assignments will be issued approximately 1 week before as a Draft and a Final Ops plan will be issued the day before by email.
