Below, you will find a PDF of the script for our Tuesday night service net. Feel free to download it and read along with the net as a way to practice for being Net Control. You can also access the other documents used to do the weekly net here.
Signing up for Net Control is a great way to practice your radio communication skills! Please contact the club president if you’re interested in signing up or would like a mentor.
Helpful hints:
- Be prepared. Download the script and other documents well ahead of time.
- Look up next week’s net control operator and ARNewsline transmitter in the weekly blog or the “SCRA Net NC+ARN Schedule” file and write it down.
- (Bold text in parentheses) = instructions to you and should NOT be read on the air.
- Important: Remember to identify your station every ten (10) minutes.
- Un-key after each paragraph to prevent timing out the repeater and allow for emergency break-ins.
