Vanity Licensing

    Hello SCRA Hams. I am thinking of a vanity license to have a lower morse weight. Also I get a lot of “?” when contesting because of my 6 into the E (KC6EOA).

    My Question: What ramifications have you experienced with changing your call sign? Did you find it a hassle to change so many things over to the new call? Was it worth it? Anything else you can offer? …

    FOLLOW-up – It has not been too bad at all with the transition after getting my vanity call KA6R. I would say the toughest part, just tring to be real careful not to mess past QSL history up with LOTW and TQSL. Just go slow and read some of their directions step by step and it will work. Also, LOTW & QRZ are very receptive to emails and phone calls with problems you may run into. All other website updates if I remember were simpler.
    Go For the Vanity Sign…I like mine a lot.
