    Its Time! Time to signup for the 2014 Mini-DX that is.

    This year’s event has been postponed to August 15, 16 & 17 (Friday – Sunday). Same great location as last year. A.W. Way Park along the Mattole River in Humboldt County.

    So look over your calendar and post up here if you will be attending.

    It will be structured just like last year. Lots of fun and relaxation. Comfy camping. Running water, flush toilets, showers. Gourmet camp food and lots of radio time. If you are new to camping, this is the right venue for you. We will develop a duty roster (like last year) to spread the load of meals and such.

    Cost? You pay for the campsite ($20 per night) and then pitch in for a share of the food which is somewhere in the $20-$30 range per person. The Club helps defray some of the food cost as well.

    Oh Oh, Big Problem. I spoke too soon. My daughter is getting married that weekend. So . . . I will NOT be joining the gang on this mini-dxpedition.
