Wine Country Century
The Wine Country Century (WCC) is a long-running bicycle event produced by the Santa Rosa Cycling Club (SRCC). It is a staple in SCRA’s public service season. SCRA manages amateur radio communications with Net Control, rest stops, and radio SAGs. The event is a standard century bike tour of the west central portions of the county.
If you are new to public service and want a no-pressure way to try it out, sign up as a Shadow and we’ll pair you up with an experienced ham. Elmers at all positions will teach Shadows and get them on the air. Net control operators will take turns running net control and keeping a traffic log.
