Scheme:

                        BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS = material to be spoken by the Net Control Station (NCS) on the air.

                        small letters = instructions to you, the NCS.

                        IMPORTANT:  Remember to identify your station every ten (10) minutes. 

NCS should un-key after each paragraph is read.

 

CALLING ALL RADIO AMATEURS, CALLING ALL RADIO AMATEURS,

THIS IS (give your name and call), NET CONTROL STATION FOR THE SONOMA COUNTY RADIO AMATEURS SERVICE NET. 

THIS NET IS SPONSORED BY THE SONOMA COUNTY RADIO AMATEURS, INC.,

AND MEETS ON THIS FREQUENCY EVERY TUESDAY AT 7 PM.

EMERGENCY TRAFFIC ALWAYS HAS PRIORITY OVER ALL OTHER COMMUNICATIONS. 

ANY STATION HAVING EMERGENCY TRAFFIC WILL CONTACT NET CONTROL. 

IS THERE ANY EMERGENCY OR PRIORITY TRAFFIC AT THIS TIME?

(Un-key and Handle any traffic, and at your discretion continue the net, or suspend/close it immediately, depending upon the situation).

SCRA MEMBERSHIP IS OPEN TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN AMATEUR RADIO.

THE CLUB MEETING IS HELD AT 6:30 PM ON THE FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT THE

LUTHER BURBANK ART AND GARDEN CENTER, LOCATED AT 2050 YULUPA AVENUE, IN SANTA ROSA. 

THE PURPOSE OF THIS NET IS TO PROVIDE INFORMATION OF INTEREST TO ALL RADIO AMATEURS. 

PLEASE CHECK IN FIVE AT A TIME.

AT THIS TIME I WILL TAKE SCRA MEMBER AND GUEST CHECK-INS. 

FIRST FIVE STATIONS  CHECK IN NOW.

(The check-in procedure is up to the Net Control, although groups of five in any order with no phonetics, unless needed for clarity, seems to work as well as any.  It is not a hard and fast rule to acknowledge check-ins, but it is a popular practice and encourages participation in the net.

After the first five check in, acknowledge each, at your discretion. Sometimes there are doubles or bad reception. After getting all stations recorded or acknowledged,
