    N-type connectors (aka N connectors) are touted as better than the “UHF” PL-258 and SO-239 connectors for lower losses at UHF frequencies and for resistance to moisture ingress. But for someone who has never before installed an N-type connector on LMR-400 coaxial cable, which sub-type is better: crimp or clamp? And why is it better?

    Do you have recommendations for vendors and models?
