    Is there a ham standard for color coding Anderson Powerpole connectors used with a 24VDC battery system?

    Hi Fred. Sorry I can’t be of much help – I haven’t heard of any standardization for 24V system wiring amateur, commercial or otherwise! Best of luck.

    Fred / John,

    This question interested me enough that I tried some research. I spoke with Powerwerx and they also have no standard. However, I took a look at the solar power world and found something interesting. In solar controllers, they use Red as the baseline battery connector color. On the solar array side (multiple voltages) they use Yellow as the standard connector color. Yellow is enough o a difference in color to make you at least question the voltage if nothing else.
