I’m new to the club (came on board after the October fires) and have tried to participate a bit in the weekly nets and such. I also just took and passed my Amateur Extra exam, and I’m looking for a technical challenge.
As it turns out, I am a bit of a tinkerer, and am looking to get an HF rig together (currently eyeballing a Xiegu/Connect Systems CS108G, or go full SDR with a HobbyPCB RS-HFIQ into a Raspberry Pi or Odroid in my box of goodies.
I would also be interested in helping to repair other equipment (perhaps other hams have older or marginal gear that is idle in the shack). I don’t have gobs of free time, but I do have a couple scopes, a function generator and some Salae logic analyzers that can be put to use for the community good.
Anyhow, ping me if there is any interest, and I send my regrets that I can’t make it to the winter dinner party.
