DETAILS:

Giro Bello is a bicycle charity event of the Rotary Club of Santa Rosa. There are three routes within northern and western Sonoma County - 50k, 100k, and 100 mi, and staggered start times.  There are five rest stops plus Net Control at Start/Finish.  Hams will provide communications from rest stops and SAGs to Net Control.

If you are new to public service and want a no-pressure way to try it out, sign up as a Shadow and we'll pair you up with an experienced ham. Elmers at all positions will teach Shadows and get them on the air. Net control operators will take turns running net control and keeping a traffic log.
