BIKE MS:  WAVES TO WINE 2023 - 1st PAGE - SATURDAY 9/09

The annual MS Society annual fund raising event to battle MS (Multiple Sclerosis). SCRA has been involved in this event for many years.

Saturday, the 100 & 72 mile rides start in SF at Presidio, Sports Basement, proceeds up Hwy 1 before turning inland to finish at Sonoma Mountain Village (SMV aka SOMO Village).   The 43 & 20 mile rides start and finish at SMV.  On Sunday, the 60 & 40 mile rides tour area in the west county and start and finish at SMV.

This event makes use of the SCRA English Hill repeater both Saturday and Sunday, with the likelihood of leveraging the K6ACS Sonoma Mountain repeater on Saturday. HT Friendly? No. Access to field assignments? Requires some long drives (1 hour max ) to field assignments.  Additional Information:

In addition to signing up on here on the SCRA webpage, please also complete the National MS Society "Volunteer Consent Form", either in advance (the comm boss should email you one) or on the day of the event at a rest stop or your working location.   You must sign and submit the form to work this event and in doing so may possibly benefit from their insurance coverage.
