Wine Country Century

The Wine Country Century (WCC) is a long-term bicycle event produced by the Santa Rosa Cycling Club (SRCC). It is a long-time staple in SCRA's public service season. SCRA manages amateur radio communications with Net Control, rest stops, and radio SAGs. The event is a straight ahead century bike tour of the west central portions of the county. There are three route options: 38 miles, 100 km, and 100 miles. SRCC has more information here:

• Operational Area: West Sonoma County, Dry Creek and Alexander Valleys
• Operational Time: 0600 - 1800
• Repeater(s): Primary - W6SON (147.315 + T88.5); Backup - K6ACS (146.730 - T88.5)
• HT Friendly? Depends on location, mobile radios (35W Min.) are preferred. Use of HTs is not recommended for this event.

A Note to SAGs: When you volunteer here, the Event Chair will also sign you up on the SRCC volunteer page since SRCC will handle the logistics of where to deploy SAGs. Or, you may save everyone the trouble by signing yourself up below and then here: SRCC Volunteer Page (PENDING)
