Sonoma County Fair – SCRA Information Booth

SCRA Information Booth

Use the online system to sign up for a shift at the Information Booth. Week Days or weekend.

The Community Outreach Committee will provide information and extend community awareness of Sonoma County Radio Amateurs (SCRA) and amateur radio in general. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your passion of amateur radio with the community at large.

SCRA has been invited to participate in the Sonoma County Fair.

The Fair dates are August 4th-14th…closed on August 8th.

The Fair hours are from 1200-2200.

SCRA has been asked to staff the fair for all days.

I’m looking at two to four people working five-hour shifts during the week.

Six people per five-hour shift on the weekends.

We will receive free fair passes and parking.

We will have an HF station, FT8, CW, building a simple circuit.

I’m open to other ideas.

I’m posting this now so you can schedule time to work the fair booth.

Also, to have time to “play fair”.
