Operational Time: 0600-2000 Operational Area: Western Arm (Warm Springs Arm) of Lake Sonoma / Warm Springs Dam Net Control Location: South Lake Trailhead (off Skaggs Springs-Stewarts Point Rd) at the event’s Start-Finish What: 50 mile foot race [Ultra running event] Web Site: http://www.run100s.com/ls50.htm Repeater: No Comments: This event is run on remote trails behind Lake Sonoma. The club repeater and others are not reachable in this locale.
- Operations for this event are in simplex, usually with HTs.
- NC sets up at the South Lake Trailhead – same as Start-Finish for the event.
- Traffic consists of tracking the top 10 male and female runners, aid station status and medical/lost runners.
- Aid Stations are remote and sometimes require as much as 45 minutes to reach from NC. One requires a boat ride.

Joe, K6AWA, conducts a 10 meter Net beginning at 8:00 PM on Tuesday on 28.403 Mhz. This is in the Technician portion of the band and all amateurs can participate for an informal introduction to High Frequency Radio and talk radio.
10 Meter Net
There will be a net on 10 meters hosted by Joe K6AWA at 8:00pm following the regular SCRA net Tuesday nights.
Set your dial to 28,403.00 SSB, USB. (New Frequency)
Please note that all license classes (including technician) are welcome.
DMR Net – Thursdays 6:30pm
Join us on the fastest growing digital voice mode every Thursday at 6:30pm Pacific Time! We meet on the BrandMeister talk group 31707 (Sonoma County). It is open to any amateur radio operator that can get on DMR. Whether that’s a DMR handheld, mobile or even an AMBE 3000 USB key fob running BlueDV, we want to hear from you!
If you have a common Chinese DMR radio, we probably have a code plug on this site that gets you there!
Randy AA6RH is the usual net control operator, though he is trying to grow the pool of net control operators for this net. We look forward to seeing you on the talk group!
