Please contact SCRA Community Outreach Chair, Darryl Paule, KI6MSP to volunteer for a shift at the Information Booth.
The Community Outreach Committee will provide information and extend community awareness of Sonoma County Radio Amateurs (SCRA) and amateur radio in general. This is a wonderful opportunity to share your passion of amateur radio with the community at large.
SCRA will be doing a demonstration at the Novato Space Festival.
August 4th. 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
This includes time for setup & tear down.
Radio demonstration and planned ARISS contact.
Appearances by Astronauts, R2-D2 and Snoopy.

1st shift 7:00 – 10:00 (setup)
2nd shift 10:00 – 12:30
3rd shift 12:30 – 3:00
4th shift 3:00 – 6:00 (includes teardown, may end early)
There will be a meet & greet with the astronauts after the event is over.

21-22 September – MS Society’s Waves to Wine
The annual MS Society annual fund raising event to battle MS. SCRA has been involved in this event for many years. Saturday, the ride starts in SF, proceeds up Hwy 1 before turning inland to finish at Sonoma Mountain Village. Sunday, the ride tours areas in the west county to finish back at SMV. This event makes use of the Marin ARS repeater system on Saturday.

Location: Western Sonoma County
Our official end of the year event. The biggest and the best. The Fondo, in five years, has become the largest event in the county drawing 7500 riders from all over the globe. We will be operating rest stops, SAGs and coordinating with Sonoma County Emergency Services. The course covers all the way from Finley Center to as far north as Stewarts Point.
